Lie down on the floor and bend your legs, keeping your feet on the floor and your knees together. Place your fingers on your temples. Raise your head to your knees and then lower, keeping the movement controlled.

Stay lying down and place your hands under your lower back for support. Keep your legs locked straight and your toes pointed away. Raise your legs up to a 90º angle and try to raise your bum off the floor slightly at the top of the rep. Tense your abs and then lower your legs in a controlled manner, making sure you don’t slam your heels on to the floor.

Lie flat on the floor, place your fingers on your temples, bend your legs and bring your knees up to your chest. Reach your hands past your knees while tensing the stomach, and then lower your head and legs back down at the same time. To make it harder, keep your hands on your temples and touch your knees with your elbows.

While still lying down, keep your feet flat to the floor with your legs bent and knees together. Place your fingers on the front of your thighs and then slide your hands up your legs and try to touch the top of your knees. Repeat, keeping your head and shoulders off the floor so your stomach stays tense.

Finally, lie flat on the floor, raise your head and shoulders off the ground and stretch your arms out in front of you. Raise your legs around 6 inches off the ground and pull in your stomach. Hold for 10–20 seconds and then lower back to the starting position.
